Govt Jobs after Diploma, Jobs for ITI Diploma Holders.

ITI (Industrial Training Institute) pass outs are thoroughly skilled and conversant in various trades like Fitter, turner, machinist, tool maintenance, welder, carpenter, and electrician and so on. The services offered by them are valuable in the sense that they form an integral part of infrastructure maintenance and sustenance at the ground level for all companies.
The candidates’ field of specialization will primarily determine the nature of government jobs he can apply for. The pay scale will depend upon the requirement of trades at the discretion of concerned sector in view of the overall guidelines.
Let us go through some government sector companies that actively recruit ITI pass outs.
BEML Limited (A Govt of India Undertaking) – BEML recruits ITI trainees for its various engineering projects across the country. The candidates should have scored a minimum of 70% in ITI ( 67% – OBC and 65%- SC/ST) and passed SSLC as well. The candidates should have got a certificate in NAC or NCTVT. A walk-in interview is generally conducted to shortlist candidates. They are generally kept as apprentice during initial years wherein they can expect to draw a pay scale around Rs.3000 in the 1st year to Rs 5500.
India Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research, Kalpakkam – The pride of India setting new milestones in the atomic energy field takes in stipendiary trainee for Category II. Young and bright ITI students qualifying in any trade can send in their applications for the posts offered by the Centre. The candidates can expect to have a good head start to their career in this premiere institute. Selected candidates can expect to attract a pay scale in the range of Rs. 5500 to 10000.
Heavy Engineering Corporation (HEC) Limited- HEC, Ranchi offers good job prospects for hardworking and dedicated technical workers (ITI degree holder) from various trades in suitable technical positions. Matriculation passed ITI candidates with minimum 3 years experience can apply for apprenticeship in various trades. The candidate will have a consolidated pay scale of 7,000/- per month and 8,000 /-per month respectively during the first and second year of internship. They are also employed as regular workers in various companies as Grade ’F’ worker in the pay scale of Rs.4440-6365/-.
